Bad Art is a curatorial project founded in 2016. We aim to challenge the contemporary art world through transgressive exhibitions that offer a different way of interacting with art.  Our shows are a reaction & protest against the hushed silence, white-walled gallery experience.

ART FUNDRAISER FOR LEBANON 🇱🇧

As part of Artists Against Genocide, Bad Art is organising an Art Auction Fundraiser for the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon.

All funds raised from the fundraiser will go towards the Lebanese Red Cross, which is providing on the ground support, emergency medical aid, and healthcare services for people displaced due to the ongoing and escalating violence in Southern Lebanon.

As this fundraiser is a matter of urgency, we are asking artists to submit their donation proposals by Monday, the 14th of October. If artists are unable to meet this deadline, there will be a second auction to participate in, so we encourage to still send your work through for us to review.

If you wish to donate, please consider the following criteria.

Donation Criteria:

  • Ideally 2D format, small, non-fragile sculptures, work that is feasible to post

  • In saleable condition

  • The context of the work does not have to directly relate to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Lebanon, however we ask you are mindful of submitting appropriate work, we understand this may not always be immediately obvious, so please get in touch with any questions.
